Week 7 has arrived...
Wow we could not have asked for better weather today for all the kids to arrive. We had a great intros were all the staff introduced them self's to the kids through funny skits and songs. From there we went and played games right up till our very first campfire where Executive Director of Wapo Loren Tieg gave the first campfire talk. Thank you everyone for letting us be with your kids this week and share about Jesus. We ask for any prayers that you can offer up for us and people all around the world.

Just a bit outside
We are currently inside having campfire being safe during a tornado warning from the county even though the storm has already missed us. We are playing it safe and worshiping indoors it has not even rained yet so we are all safe and sound. Another hot day again but we got some relief from the sun as it was cloudy all morning. Thank you for all your continued prayers and support.

Finshing the race
The week is ending and everyone seems to be in the highest of spirits the final campfire just finished and the kids sang so beautifully the lake was alive with God's spirit. The weather was dreary but all our fun was stomped out by the weather. We played a new game of Hulla Launchers that was really exciting from there we had lunch and a great free time with tie dye and games. Thank you again for all your prayers and the little blessings that you have allowed us to be with this week.

Monday is Fun Day
A great second day at camp it started out with everything being really wet from the storm last night but it turned into a very beautiful day. Nothing was damage and no one was hurt last night during the storm we got a very impressive light show and that was about it. Today was filled with a chapel service and bible study as well as our swim test to start the morning off right. Everyone did swimmingly and had a little fun at the same time. From there it was lunch then our first free time it was really warm for that but some hot weather didn't stop us from having fun. Agape* (Christian rap artist) will be preforming for our worship tonight and the kids and counslors are getting really excited. God bless and take care.

Here comes the son
By far the most sun that we have seen in weeks here at Camp Wapo lifting everyone's spirits that should make for a great Wednesday. It should be sunny all day here and reach into the 80's today. Light worship went off last night without a hitch telling stories through silhouettes makes for something different and very impactful worship. Tonight we have a drama worship so be praying for them as they preform and pray that the youth receive it with open hearts. Everything is looking great from here everyone is having a blast and worshiping with full hearts. Tune in later for more updates about the week.
