This is the first day of camp for Summer 2013!
The kids have brought smiles, laughter, and an amazing energy to Camp Wapo so far and the staff is thrilled to have them here. This afternoon over 230 campers registered, found out where they will be living for the week, was greeted by their counselors, and met all of their cabin mates for the upcoming week. After a delicious dinner meal consisting of pizza, carrots, corn chips, and cookies, they split off into their cabins doing various 'ice breaker' games, challenge activities, and a large scavenger hunt of the camp.
We hope the weather tonight will be nice enough to have an outdoor campfire worship to start the week off right!
